RS232 port is not needed. In case of decoder hang and need flash firmware. You can do it via USB port

Another awesome feature offered by ip-BOX 8. Airplay any videos/songs from your Smartphone (iPhone, Android, BB, WM8 or iPad/Galaxy Tabs) to ip-BOX 8.

It is like iOS Airplay. I tested few apps in my iPhone. Worked very well.

App support on iphone so far is iTunes (songs), Vevo, PPS, PPTV, Sohu and a lot more.
