How does Cardsharing Works?
1. Card sharing technology is sweeping the world with the aid of Linux based satellite receivers.
There are a huge range of satellite receivers now on the market that have the capabilities of supplying digital satellite viewing through IP services, such as the Dreambox series, Openbox,Azbox and much more.
In short you can receive all your favourite channels from your preferred suppliers by simply using your internet access or broadband.
The receiver needs a sharing protocol software installed called CCcam. This is the bit of software that talks directly to the server that hold the original satellite subscription information. Every 2-5 seconds your tv picture would be encrypted by the supplier and therefore needs the de-cryption keys. Once this happens, your receiver will talk to your providers servers to obtain the password in real time and deliver it back to your receiver. This all happens in milliseconds to make sure that your viewing pleasure is not disturbed by freezing or pixilation.
Setting this up on your receiver is very simple, firstly you need to install and run CCcam. You can usually download this directly by using your remote control and the update features on your receiver. Once installed you need an ftp software to add the control of c line given by the server provider. Once inserted; your receiver will start decrypting most of the channels that your satellite dish is able to receive.
2. What equipment do i need to use your service?
All you need is a satellite dish pointing at your desired provider , a Dreambox or similar running CCcam and an internet connection or broadband connection.
3. What softcam do you recommend using on a Dreambox?
We recommend you use CCcam 2.2.1 to connect to our servers.
4. How do you Test that your Dreambox is connected to the Internet?
Go to blue panel by pressing blue button on remote
Go to Addons.
Go To download (Gemini-Server)
If you receive an error then your Dreambox has no working Internet connection. You must resolve this problem before your cardshare will work.
5. How does card sharing work?
Card sharing is a method by which independent receivers obtain simultaneous access to a pay television network, using one legitimate conditional access subscription card. Typically, the legitimate card is attached to a personal computer or Dreambox which is connected to the Internet, and is configured to provide the legitimately decrypted control word to other receivers who request the information. This decrypted control word is then used to decode an encrypted conditional access service, as though each other receiver were using its own subscription card.
6. How to Set CCcam as your default Cam?
From blue panel, go to top of panel and use left/right buttons to scroll to CCcam 2.2.1
Now press the Green button to start CCcam
Press Exit to return to the TV
Press Menu and select Shutdown followed by Restart
When your Dreambox reboots it will use CCcam as the default cam
7. Can I receive all the channels listed
You can receive only those channels that your satellite dish is able to receive. If you have a motorised system with a dish of a suitable size then it may be possible to receive all of the channels listed.
